In the Break Room: SLIP by Phillip Chbeeb & Renee Kester

Hello everyone! I hope you’ve all had a good start to your weekend. I’m feeling a bit under the weather, maybe something to do with getting rained on yesterday. So, I’m taking a little break from writing today. Instead of my usual post, I decided to share with you the video below. The piece is called SLIP and it’s one of the most powerful pieces of dancing I’ve seen in a long time. It makes me want to hold on and never let go, to never let it slip through my fingers although I’m not quite sure what “it” is. There’s a fluidity to their movement that transports me somewhere else, a small pocket of longing. It’s truly worth a watch.

Happy weekend, readers.
